Our client was charged with the possession of a loaded handgun together with a substantial amount of drugs located in his vehicle.

A preliminary inquiry was held at which the investigating police officers were cross-examined with respect to serious Charter breaches. The Crown subsequently entered a stay of proceedings. The client avoided a conviction and a substantial jail sentence.
